Go to Domain from Your GoDaddy Account and Click on Manage
You can list your domain for sale through Godaddy. To list domains for sale, first of all, login to your account and go to my products. You have to find out your domain that already you have registered with Godaddy or transferred therein. You can see all the domains that you have registered with GoDaddy.
Now, determine which domain you want to list for sale. Locate the domain you want to list for sale. You can see the ‘Manage’ option under ‘Manage All’. So, to proceed further, click on the ‘Manage’ option and it takes you to the next page. Scroll down along the right scroll bar and locate ‘Manage Listing’.
Now, click on the ‘Manage Listing’ and it takes you to the next page where you can enter your asking price to sell the domain that you want to list.
Click on List for Sale and Enter Price
So, in this page you have to enter the price for your domain. GoDaddy gives you an estimated price with its domain appraisal tool for your domain. You can use GoDaddy domain appraisal tool to find out domain’s price and it is free. You will not have to pay to use this service. You can put this as your asking price for your domain. Also, you can enter your own price. Once the listing completed, you will be given a link through email to login to Afternic.
Login to Afternic through GoDaddy and Complete the Account Settings
You can login to Afternic through your Godaddy credentials, create a new account or log in to the existing account if you have created an account before this. Godaddy has made partnership with Afternic and it will display your domain in hundred of partner sites and their selling pages.
You will also be given an email link from Afternic that you have to verify for your account settings.
Agree to Display Ads on Your Domain
After logging in to Afternic, You can see some notification in Account settings. Click on it and you will see the above form of consent to display your domains in search results. You have to agree that:
- You will not click on the ads on your domain and
- You will not give any incentive for clicking on ads displaying on your domains.
- In the last line, write your name in the blank space and check the box to comply with their consent.
- Lastly click on agree.
Parking Verification
Now, you need to verify email email along with other account settings, in order to park domains with Afternic. In this section, you have to make parking verification request. Once the request completed, next you need to fill out the forms to receive payments.
Enter Payment Information step by step
When your account approved, you have to fill out forms in four steps in order to accept payment. The forms that you need to fill out are related to address, selecting payment method and taxation. Go to the following section to know how to fill out the forms to accept payment from your sold domains.
Step 01: Fill up Address Form
In the first step, you have to fill out a form that will include your address details including your email address and contact details. You have to fill out each option properly and when it gets completed, click on the next to continue to the next step.
Step 02: Fill up form for Payment and Select Payment Method
In the second step, you have to select a payment method and provide information on it. You can accept payment through eCheck, Local bank transfer,Wire transfer etc. In case of bank transfer, you need to provide bank name, IFSC Code, Zip etc.
Also, you can use PayPal to accept payment. With PayPal, you accept and transfer money in the international market. It has many advantages.
If you add PayPal as payment method, then you have to add your first name, last name and the same email address that you linked to your PayPal account.
The system will verify your email address, first name and last name which enter in the form. If the email address and account details do not match with PayPal account, you cannot proceed further and the system will not be able to verify it properly. That’s why enter the account details which are as same as those entered in your PayPal account. When the form is filled up properly, click next to proceed further.
Fill Out Tax Form if Included
It will take you to the third step, namely form for taxation. You have to enter your street, house number and city. At the lower part of the form, write your name in the blank space and click next.
After some hours, you will be given an email on your account approval and also, you can see it from your account section under notification.
